Naga Munchetty, 45, didn’t hold back after a disgruntled Twitter user insulted her about her latest venture on BBC Radio 5 Live. The BBC Breakfast host began her new job on 4 January and was met with backlash, but Naga knew how to handle their comments.
Ahead of her first day on the new job, the BBC star took to social media to share her excitement as she packed her bag ready for the early start.
“I’ve been sorting out my work bag & am ready to go back to the office,” she penned.
“1st day in a new job @bbc5live tomorrow. 10am to 1pm.
“I get to work with a brilliant team & discuss the stuff in our lives that matter with great guests and listeners. Can. Not. Wait. Hope you can join us.”

“I also think it will hurt.”
Ahead of her big debut as host of the mid-morning show, Naga admitted that she made a mistake before her big moment on the air-waves when she greeted her new radio colleague Nicky Campbell, by the wrong name.
“I made my first mistake before I even started the program this morning,” she giggled as she confessed the slip-up to her new audience.
“By getting Nicky Campbell’s name wrong!”
